Our Community

Our community sits at the heart of our work with children. We make connections with local home educators, schools, businesses, special interest groups and social enterprises. By cultivating roots in the community, we not only grow the community but also help keep it alive and thriving.

How real is learning about ‘real life’ when confined to a schoolyard? Not as real as when we extend the child’s experience into the community.

Children reach into the local community with visits involving places and people for experiential learning, projects and site visits.

This crossover ensures an authentic place-based education for children, with a basis in community and real life learning.
